i thought i would receive a warm welcome, but instead was treated very unfriendly at reception. paying extra to get to the hotel and dealing with cold chicken fajitas that made my stomach churn was just the icing on the cake. i almost would have given a good review, but just couldn’t, sadly.

Adventure awaits at this unique lodge where reaching it by boat is half the fun! The air-conditioned rooms are a delightful escape from the humidity, and the knowledgeable guides, like Luis, will introduce you to the vibrant wildlife, including sloths and howler monkeys right from the hotel grounds. With daily tours and the camaraderie of fellow guests, every moment feels special.
Restaurant insect presence.

The air-conditioned cabins are a nice touch in this humid jungle setting, making the stay quite comfortable. The experience of reaching the hotel by boat adds a unique charm to the adventure.
Some of the rooms feel a bit worn, like the bathrooms, which could use a refresh—those outside showers aren’t exactly appealing with dirty concrete. The pool's filtration system seemed inactive during my stay, leading to a few floaties, and the restaurant can be overrun by insects in the evenings, making dining somewhat less enjoyable.

Nature vibes and awesome guides!
Spent 2 nights at this charming spot right on the canal. The boat ride in was epic, and I loved chillin' by the small pool after long days exploring with our awesome guide, Luis. The food at the restaurant was really good—just wished the room was a tad brighter. The staff were super friendly, making it feel like home!
